Is it compatible with HTC Touch Diamond?
Cannot get any of the betas to work
Running on a standard SUSE 10.2 on an Athlon XP3000+ Abit MB and a National Semiconductor bluetooth dongle.
None of the betas can find the dongle - and even removing it and plugging it back in again gets no response.
The previous releases (eg 0.99.0svn576598-168.1@i586) at least seem to find the dongle and allow me to transfer files to my mobile.
Am I doing something wrong here - or expecting too much of these betas?
Device Compatibility List?
I was wondering what devices are supported by KDEBluetooth. I have a Sabrent Wireless Bluetooth 2.4Ghz USB Dongle External Adapter Class 1, Model: BT-USB. KDEBluetooth does not seem to find this device. Any ideas?
Password
I am trying to pair with my mobil phone SonyEricsson K510i. KDEBluetooth can see the phone but the phone can't. When I try Serial Port, serial chat my phone notice KDEB but asks för a password. Where can I find information or set password?
I have bin trying SMS from KMobiletools but did not succed as expected - what service in would I use for that?
I had problem with compilation but that got solved with latest version of xmms!

Audacious Support
Hi,
it would be great to have support for Audacious player in kdebluetooth
because it has less bugs in its remoting API and is still activly developed.
The XMMS player on the other hand has many unresolved bugs and it seems
to be a dead project..
Code changes for Audacious should be minimal since it's a fork of XMMS.

Howtos
I cannot work out how to post properly to this site. It is not at all intuative.
I have downloaded, compiled and installed 1.0 beta2 but cannot find any documentation on how to use it to communicate with my Samsung mobile phone.
I used to have Mandrake 9 installed and kbluetooth worked perfectly. Since upgrading to Mandriva 2007, I can no longer pair with the phone.

compiling from svn trunk
--update 11.10.07: kdebluetooth hasn't been ported yet to qt4, AFAIK.
Hi! First sorry for asking here, but the forum doesn't allow me to post.
I'm trying to compile kdebluetooth from svn trunk, with qt-copy(4.2.2). I'm trying to start with kde development so don't expect too much, please.
I followed the steps in the docs but the configure script complains about "make sure you compiled Qt with -debug", which i've done. I've found that the configure script searches for libQtCore_debug.la, which I can't find in $QTDIR/lib (the only similar is libQtCore.so.4.2.2.debug).
Do you have any clues?
thanks in advance
KUbuntu Edgy on Laptop
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 which I installed Edgy on. I could no longer send files to my Dell Axim 51v pda.
After downloading, extracting, configuring, making, and installing your beta2 files, it works now.
Keep up the good work!!

BlueZ 3.7 and passkey-agent
I think that after BlueZ 3.7 change autentification procedire we should write the passkey-agent fnflog programm for KDEBluetooth subsystem!
re BlueZ 3.7 and passkey-agent
That would be great as my pda asks for it and my laptop does not know how to deal with it.
